Wow what a week. Well where do I start off....
Tuesday. We found a less active that lives out in a pueblo that has a daughter of 9 years old. We taught her and she is really funny. We drove out there with our mission leader and he drove soooo fast. His car does not have seat belts and I saw him get up to 80. Well interesting Mexico fact... I have never seen someone use a seatbelt here.... we did a family home evening as well.
Wednesday. A little contacting and random visits.
Thursday. Really kind of a slow day. Not a whole lot to do. In the night we went out to El Seco, the other elders’ area, to have the district meeting. Rather that coming back we just stayed the night. We were going to have divisions, but they didn’t have enough money to pay for the bus to our area.
Friday... Just random visits nothing too exciting.
Saturday. wow what a day. Well we were pretty sure that we were going to have changes today so we went on a quest to say good bye to many people.... So we went and said good bye to a bunch of friends took pictures and everything. Then we bought pizzas for one of the families that is really poor, but they are always giving us pan and hot chocolate. Pizza is pretty expensive, or I guess not expensive, just about the same it would cost in the US. They were pretty excited. It was a lot of fun.
Sunday. Church in the morning. Then we said good bye to more people because we were sure we were going to have changes. Then we waited and waited. And we never got the call from the zone leaders until like 9 at night.... then we got the big news........ we don’t have changes.... we are staying here. We now feel really really dumb for saying goodbye to everyone.... But yeah we are here together for another 6 weeks. I like this area even though the work is a little hard. Just about every other area in the zone is baptizing about 6-7 a change. But whatever, I have a lot of fun with Johnson and the families out here.
Thats about it, a little shorter email...
